How much should I expect to pay for my wedding bouquet/boutonnieres?

Submitted by Lab Girl
I have no idea what bouquets and boutonnieres and corsages cost. I know that it can all be dependent upon the type of flowers and arrangement, but I’m just trying to get a ball park figure.

  1. In my family there is always someone able to make them or get them cheap and still be of good quality. See if there is such a person in your family. Otherwise, check the local flower stores. Also, my sister got her sons wedding cake at Walmart for a very good price and it was a very good cake and tasted great too.

  2. boutonnieres, are very cheap or many places they give it for free, depending where are you getting married, and the bouquet, i just got married 5 months ago, and I pay $25 for mine i got it from K mart, now, it all depends what you like, you could try getting on line some beautiful ones from 2-100 depending how much is your budget

  3. 30-up for maids if live depending on type of flowers 15 up for corsages and 5 up for bouts 60 up for yours.
If you want silks, try csilkc.com they have all inclusive sets for weddings.
They are very easy to make yourself afloral.com for how to video.
Then americanfloraldistributors.com, growersbox.com globalrose.com, or rosesource.com for flowers in bulk. We got all our flowers for both ceremony and reception for less than 400. Our flowers inc 2 doz gladiolas,8 doz roses. 180 lilies. tons of greenery. million star, stephanotis and daisies to use as fillers, and some of the floral work supplies. American and growersbox both have boxes for weddings.

  4. It varies depending on which florist you go to (assuming you want fresh flowers). It is very important to get several quotes and if you get the chance to see examples of their work, do! I can only go off what I had for my wedding to give you an idea…

I’m in Australia and the first quote I got was about 200 for my bouquet and 125 for my bridesmaids. I think it was 15 for the button holes and 25 for corsages. After getting several quotes, I ended up going with 150 for my bouquet, 95 for my bridesmaids, 10 for buttonholes and 25 for corsages.

This includes flowers that are readily available and easy to arrange. Flowers like phalaenopsis orchids take more effort to arrange so costs more.

Several florists will do packages, so check those out too.

Start with that, and see how you go :)

  5. My florist did a package deal where I got my bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, mothers corsages, and bouinerie’s for the men for $180. Try to find a florist who specalizes in weddings because they usually give you a better deal and will do packages to suit your needs.

  6. Hi, It’s a hard question to answer because it depends on if you want cheaply looking flowers or something nice. It depends on if you want live or artificial flowers as well.

Bridal bouquets can start from $20.00 for cheesy looking ones. I would say the nicer ones start at about 70.00 and up to hundreds.Bridesmaid bouquets usually start at about 30.00 and go up from there.

The boutonnieres and corsages can range in price as well depending on the materials that is used like if the flowers are live, plastic, or silk, ribbons used can be expensive. It depends but they can start at about $1.50 for boutonnieres and go up to $60.00 depending on what you want. Corsages start at about $4.50 and go up as well.

I know of a great site I send my customers to all the time for the best quality for the money. It’s and they will make all your decorations in your colors. Good Luck!

  7. It really, really does depend on what type of flowers you want. To ask without specifying what type of flowers, what region of the world you live in, what size and style of each item you want, and what time of year you are getting married is asking for a huge “ballpark” answer.

OK, so here are my ballpark answers:
    Boutonnieres can range from $3 – $40
    Corsages can range from $5 – $85
Bridesmaids bouquets can range from $10 – $250
Bridal bouquets can range from $20 – $1000

Typical prices for boutonnieres range from $6 – $20.
Typical prices for corsages range from $15 – $40.
Typical bridesmaids bouquets range from $30 – $125.
Typical bridal bouquets range from $90 – $300.

If you choose chrysanthemum daisies your flowers will be cheap, if you choose orchids (and you don’t live on Hawaii or some other tropical island) your flowers will be expensive. These are just a couple of examples of how flowers can be vastly different in price.

I’ve made wedding flowers for an entire (tiny) wedding for under $100 before and flowers for other weddings which ran as high as $20,000. So, as you can see, the variations are huge. Typical wedding flowers have run between $1500 and $4000 in my experience.

I have about 18 years of experience as a professional wedding floral designer. I’ve written a number of articles on wedding flowers which might be of help to you. I’ve included links to a few of them in the sources below.

  8. Th price depend upon the flowers you would choose for your wedding bouquet, i got my wedding bouquet for 200 dollars as i chose the quality flowers.
you can get a bouquet done in very less price, just carry these great coupons that you can get for free from this website

do check it out, it is really useful
i wish you happy married life!
