Favourite Wedding Ideas – Wedding Plans Which Guarantee You a Vow of “i Do” Instead of I Don’t

Why dream of the perfect wedding when all you need to do is to say to yourself “I the bride to be shall have the perfect wedding come hell or high water. That’s the spirit girl don’t let anything stand in your way from creating the wedding you dream of. No doubt you have heard it all before but being prepared for any last minute hiccups that could arise from whatever wedding plans you have dreamt of will guarantee your wedding to run smooth.

The wedding to do list can be time consuming but rushing can prove to be costly, not only for your pocket but your health too.

Things like ordering the wedding rings, bridal gown and that of booking the chapel marriage service can be very stressful if you allow it. Take each step at a time, juggling too many tasks at once can have you forget or overload the brain till it functions no more. You need to sit down with your betrothed and share ideas on what you both would like for your wedding. Particular ideas nominated by each other can be eliminated if inappropriate to save money. Lavish weddings can incur debt before carried over the threshold. Grandeur does not make a wedding any better than the next; it is how the whole entity is planned. For instance, if you invite lively fun people who love to dance, then your wedding now becomes more fabulous than the ceremony of grandeur with boring people listening to sombre tunes.

Issues which create the perfect wedding need to be prioritized. Centrepiece, hairstyle and wedding vows.

Your dream of having the perfect wedding can go belly up if little things you feel not important are overlooked at that particular time only to find out how necessary they really are. One is the table centrepiece, a beautiful embellishment that is extremely vital. Classical yet simple wedding centrepieces tend to evolve round flowers and ornaments. Fresh flowers of sweet fragrance fill the air with glorious scent. Silk blooms can be dabbed with aromatherapy oils. Silk flowers can be kept in remembrance of the day. Fresh blossoms can be dried and also kept as a keepsake in your wedding photo album. Remember flowers are seasonal and therefore your choice may have to be shipped in from abroad.

Centrepiece

Other perfect wedding centrepieces are silver candelabras. Floating candles with flower petals in a glass bowl is cost affective and simple to apply. Depending on location of the marriage

centrepieces will differ. If the ceremony takes place in the garden then a nature theme is more fitting to the occasion. Easy to create miniature birdhouses and flower baskets are very affective pieces of beauty. Wedding centrepieces can include juicy fruit – just as sweet smelling as flowers but you get to eat the fruit after and healthier too.

Hairstyle

Bear in mind when making your mind up on how the hair is to be worn is, what suits others may not be the right style for you. Practice makes perfect, try out different hairstyles in the mirror. This will give insight as to whether the hair goes up or stays down. Having the wedding dress easily to hand will make hairstyle selection easier. If the bridal gown is of an off shoulder design then consider wearing your hair down, if the bridal gown has a high neck Victorian type collar then wear the hair up to ooze elegance.

The shape of your face can help determine the right hairstyle. Short hair can be lengthened with hair extensions. Find a stylist and explain what you would like, being a professional the stylist can give advice on what he/she through experience knows of what is best.

Stunning hairstyles are the French twist or plaited braids creatively decorated with woven pearls or jewelled trinkets, rosebuds, feathers and bows .To help emanate romance let the tresses flow. Extensions can give the perfect hairstyle. Make arrangements with the hairdresser to have a practice run it may cost but it will be worthwhile. Bring along your tiara, Juliet cap or wedding veil for the hairdresser to fit at the same time.

Wedding Vows

Why pay for wedding words when you can save a packet by writing your own. Special words come with special meanings and if the person you are ready to marry is special, then who other than you yourself to mix those words with sentiment straight from the heart.

Pre-written wedding vows by a person not known can never express into words what it is you really want to say? Ask a friend to help you with personalizing your wedding vows.

Wedding vows simply explained is where you pledge your undying love till death do us part. This is a special part of all wedding ceremonies where the bride and groom get to say how much they love each other (god forbid if they had a tiff earlier)

Unique ideas denote originality.

1 Why not break with tradition and have the groom walk down the aisle to you or both together – you have to admit it is certainly different.

2 Ask your guests to make a small donation to charity to help those less fortunate than that of receiving a wedding favor.

3 A unique idea that your guests will love. Have a best dressed competition. Print this on the invitation, this will encourage everyone to go out of their way to look great, hence you have a wedding full of well dressed people. Not everyone can be a winner (but you are) because of uniqueness. Have the guests enter the wedding venue via a red carpet. This the guests will never forget while busy telling everyone of their star treatment they were given. So before long the whole world will know how you created the perfect wedding.

Any ideas how I can decorate the reception table the flower colors are Pink, Lime Green with Orange Accents?

Submitted by angel_eye
We are having a destination wedding and have planned a local reception here in NY. We are having a champagne buffet brunch at a very nice restaurant along the Hudson River. The restaurant is very plain and neutral so I that is why I went so bold with the flower colors. Since I can’t really decorate the restaurant what else can I put on the tables to tie in with the flower colors. The arrangements are really tall and slendor. Looking forward to your great suggestions….Thank You.

Ideas On What To Get For Your Anniversary

My best suggestion for you since Feb. comes before Aug. is to do something nice for your wife. Take her to dinner and make sure that you have flowers on your anniversary and during that time..talk to her about your idea. Explain to her your plans for Aug. and how you want to renew your vows. This way you have informed her on your anniversary.
The only problem I could see is maybe she would want to do it on her anniversary and the only way to find out is by telling her your secret. You know her best so you should decide do you want to 1. tell her on your anniversary and that is her surprise or second. Just tell her like you have told me and see which she wants to do
Everyone is different, like for me, I would love for you to tell me on our anniversary and do then do the renewal on the cruise. Would give me something to look forward to. However, others that do not like large crowds would probably prefer you just had a small church vow renewal on your anniversary! But like is said it all depends on what the two of you choose to go with. Think about your wife’s personality and then you decide which she would prefer! You have a splendid idea here and “yes” it is okay to do your vow renewal on the cruise instead of doing it on your anniversary.
A vow renewal is not about the date but about two people renewing their love and care for each other.. Besides, you will now have two dates to remember and celebrate, just more flowers for the Mrs! You should even think about sending her flowers just because it is Thursday or because you love her with all your heart.
Usually for any women a year anniversary gift means a lot to them. I mean its been a year since you two have been together. So if she’s saying that maybe something she would like to take with her then maybe earings is a good idea, maybe a necklace, or a ring. Either one I’m sure that she would like. That way she could wear her ring, necklace, or earings and be able to know that you gave it to her for her anniversary. Also the ring I’m not saying like an engagement ring or nothing just a ring something you think that she would like and want to have it with her all the time.
Something like that. If you can’t think of anything that you think she would like then go out and buy her her favorite flowers or something that you think she would like. Something like roses, lilies, or get her a pretty in pink flower arrangement.
It also really depends on what your boyfriend would like. You could make him a photo album which pretty much sums up the last two years with him. You can put pictures, stories of memorable times in your relationship, little pictures of things you both did or like. Like if you both like skiing then find a picture of skiiers and cut it out and put it in the album/journal. You can make him candy which isn’t as hard as you would think it is, or a special meal. You can get him something he really likes. It’s really difficult to tell you cause it all depends on your boyfriend.
If your boyfriend is the kind of person that likes to keep things that he knows is from you or is special to him why not try and get him some flowers. I know that that might sound a little funny. But there are a lot of men out there that like to get flowers from there loved ones. It dosen’t have to be something really big. He might end up turning red in the face. Just get him something small.
You could even go over to his house or he could come to your house for a dinner and you could give him the flowers there. That way he won’t feel out of place in a resturant. You can always add fake flowers to the album/journal that would remind him of the place you went together, what the first flower was that he got you, or something along that line.

The following guidelines contain useful tips so you might want to take a look over these facts below.

It is of extreme importance to pick the right type of flowers that will go with the wedding dress. Also, you might want to think about flowers that bloom at the particular time in that year and see whether you can save the effort of having to look for flowers that are replacement for once thing, you should start looking at flowers that pertain to the season.

Moreover, you might to think about something else than the ubiquitous roses. You could, for instance, try to use them for the traditional and classical wedding but also for the more modern one. You should avoid having natural flowers unless you really want to have a hip wedding.

Moreover, you need to ensure that the bunch you have selected will not be covering your face during the wedding, if you are smaller in statue, then you should cut the flowers shorter so that you do not have to carry a large bouquet. This would mean that the guests would be able to see your face, not only a bridal dress and someone behind it.

In a way, you might want to consult with the florist on the texture of the flowers as well as on the color you might want to choose for them. Thus, the ornaments together with the adornments will be added to the bouquet and make a cute mixture.

Another thing you might want to think about would be to have the flowers offered with a lot of appreciation and with a lot of heart. By doing so, you will ensure that you will be able to have a wonderful wedding where extreme understanding and mutual love between people will be the dominant feelings around.

Design of the bunch is also something extremely important. You might want to have it personalized in a way that you should add certain flowers that you feel will go with the theme of the wedding. Also, you find want to opt for the nosegays type of the flowers in which they are placed in a circle that is tight. In other cases, you might want to have the flowers placed in cascade types because then the flowers will be arranged on levels and they will appear to be many.

Another thing you might want to add to the bunch would be ribbons that will go across the bunch of flowers. A ribbon would only be appropriate if you plant to have a traditional or classical ceremony because this is when that particular arrangement will be most appropriate. Also, you might wanat to opt for modern bunches of the flowers you want, in the case when you have

Getting married in November, any floral arrangement ideas?

Submitted by lemon juice
We live in Texas and the garden we’re renting for the event looks just BEAUTIFUL in November. I booked it not thinking about the limited fall floral selection.

Our wedding party colors haven’t been decided because I’m not sure what selection of boquets we’ll have. Once we’ve found an arrangement – or even a flower… we’ll have a better grasp of color. Everything’s at a stand-still until then.

Has anyone seen any pretty November florals?
Or do you know of a website where I can browse flowers by season & state?

Wedding Flowers – Creative Ideas

Flowers set the theme of your wedding and are at the center of attention. Here are several suggestions on how to create a beautiful flower setting and make your wedding reception memorable.

Different Shapes

Tree-like topiaries and potted plants can serve as centerpieces and give the reception a garden feel. Flowering branches from cherry blossoms can be placed in tall vases to add drama and height to your tables. Also consider incorporating non-floral elements like stones, feathers, berries, and crystals to add interest and depth.

Go Navy

One of the hottest colors on the 2009 wedding palette is the sophisticated color of navy. Naturally navy flowers may be hard to come by, but there are some options that are a close match: deep blue violets, thistles, and hydrangea are available in various shades of blue and indigo. Roses can also be dyed navy blue. Pair these bold navy blooms with white or ivory for a classic or maritime look, or yellow or orange (complementary color) for a bright burst of color.

Get Bold

Use brightly colored napkins and table linens to play up even brighter floral arrangements. This daring combination of bright-on-bright creates a stunning, eye-catching contrast. Think hot magenta, peacock blue or royal purple linens will give you a rich, luxurious look and pair them with bold blooms like yellow gerbera daisies, orange dahlias, and purple orchids.

Color

It Here?s a creative do it yourself idea. Consider wrapping plain containers in pretty fabrics to match your wedding colors and place your reception flowers in these containers. You can also choose different patterns in the same colors, or go with similar patterns (say, all stripes) in a range of hues.

Beyond the Vase

Instead of the basic floral vase for holding your flowers, try mixing and matching clusters of unique containers like, mason jars, pitchers, and uniquely shaped vases to add interest and reflect your wedding theme. Some ideas: Fill watering cans with wild flowers for a garden affaire, or use apothecary jars filled with sand and sea glass to complement an ocean front wedding.

Go Green

Bring the outdoors in with natural objects like stones, pinecones, berries, leaves, and twigs. They add a natural ambiance to your reception. These can be placed in rustic containers or scattered among pillar candles.

Personalize It

A hand tied bouquet of fresh flowers continues to be the most popular bouquet style. It offers the look of simple elegance. Brides can personalize their flowers by incorporating unique items into their bouquets. Their bouquets can be embellished with brooches, pins, and crystal picks. Reception centerpieces can be personalized to create a conversation piece for guests. For example wine lovers can use wine bottles and decanters as centerpiece holders.

No Corsage

Forgo the corsages and instead have moms carry nosegays down the aisle. Or if it is a tropical island wedding consider having them wear fragrant and colorful leis.
